During the October school half term we stayed in a lovely Cotswold cottage and visited Westonbirt, The National Arboretum. With over 17 miles of forest walks, glorious colour from 16,000 trees (2,500 different species) it is a lovely day out even on a cooler day.

If you are heading to Devon this August take a trip to the Okehampton Show, one of Devon’s largest agricultural shows and a great day out for all the family.
in 2012 the action-packed Show Ring will have Carriage Driving Displays, Terrier Racing, Parade of Hounds, Vintage Vehicle Parade (Vintage and Classic cars and motorcycles, steam engines) and lots more.
